What would a good Canadian marketing blog be without a few hockey spots (even if they’re from the States….whoops)?
These ads were done by Mullen, a Boston agency that began the “Bruins Hockey Rules” campaign last year. The first one was just released – which led me to discover the previous entries. People that aren’t fans of hockey or the Bruins probably won’t enjoy these – but that’s not the point. There’s a strong sense of tradition and pride with hockey in Boston…akin to our raving obsession with the sport.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – it’s hard not to hit a home-run when you have a funny animal acting like a human in your spot.
